ColdFire® has been listed by the Environmental Protection Agency under their SNAP Program Vender list as an acceptable alternative to Halon 1211 and 1301. ColdFire® is non-toxic, non-corrosive, and biodegradable.

ColdFire® has been tested in accordance with DOT corrosion standards by SGS US Testing and is considered to be non-corrosive.

ColdFire® and COLD FIRE SUPER SYSTEMS equipment works so fast, that the calculation for suppressant / volume ratio has decreased.
